Room For Change (formerly GiveMe5) is a program of The Present Movement Foundation that uses the power of the hospitality world to make a positive impact in the lives of people who are economically homeless. Hotels open one or more rooms for this group of people. A stay of three to six months allows them to get out of survival mode and rebuild their lives and work towards sustainable housing. Since the start in 2021, 15 changemaking hotels have enabled 150 people to rebuild their lives. With the support of Fonds 1999, The Present Movement Foundation was able to get 68 people off the streets between September 2022 and December 2023.
